1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site independent of government. It does not store official criminal records, retrieve them for a visitor, perform an official background check, or submit documents on anyone’s behalf.

Its role is to identify custodians such as the Lawrence County Sheriff, Circuit Clerk, Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository, and Missouri Sex Offender Registry, along with outside tools that may assist research. Official Missouri record access remains subject to the Sunshine Law, Chapter 610 RSMo, and criminal-history dissemination under section 43.540 RSMo.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the site, you agree not to:

• Attempt unauthorized entry into any part of the service
• Use the service in violation of federal, Missouri, or local law
• Stalk, threaten, or harass a person with information found here
• Use site content for hiring, housing, credit, or insurance decisions
• Operate scrapers, bots, or similar automated tools against the pages
• Interfere with site performance or another visitor’s access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

You may not use information from this site or a linked service to intimidate, stalk, threaten, harass, or discriminate against anyone. Such conduct may also violate law. Missouri Sex Offender Registry information is published for public safety awareness. It must not be used for vigilantism, harassment, employment blacklisting, or housing discrimination, and unlawful misuse against a registrant can carry penalties.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create consumer reports, credit reports, or official background checks. Our advertising partners do not offer their tools here for screening job applicants, evaluating rental applications, setting insurance rates, or judging credit. You must not use this site or a linked tool to:

• Set an insurance premium or evaluate creditworthiness
• Screen a renter or housing applicant
• Make a hiring or firing decision
• Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or government benefit
• Carry out any other activity regulated by the FCRA

For a legally permitted regulated purpose, use the appropriate official process through the Missouri State Highway Patrol or a screening provider that complies with the FCRA.
