Use the office that created or maintains the Lawrence County record:

- Circuit Clerk counter: office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; the public window closes at 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday except state holidays
- Statewide criminal history and official checks: Missouri State Highway Patrol Criminal Justice Information Services Division through MACHS
- Police and incident reports: the sheriff, city police department, or MSHP unit that created the report
- Expungement filings: the municipal, associate circuit, or circuit court where the person was charged or found guilty; Lawrence County state cases begin with the Circuit Clerk
The sheriff does not label a separate records division on its site. Call 417-466-2131 before visiting and describe whether the request concerns an incident report, arrest or booking file, jail log, warrant confirmation, dispatch record, or local records check.
